The mission of Distance Education at College of the Sequoias is to extend educational opportunities to a diverse population who prefer or have need of alternative methods of delivery. Distance education provides greater opportunities for students to obtain the education they need to achieve their goals, while continuing with demanding personal and employment schedules.
Online or hybrid classes are taught via an online learning management system. Your instructor will provide you with information about how to access the learning management system used for your course. Check your COS email before the class begins to view any messages from your instructor or contact the Distance Education Coordinator, Dr. Deborah Nolan, at 559-737-6132, or
