​​Enrollment Waiver

Complete the Academy Enrollment Waiver using the link below and upload required documents.

(Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.)

Waiver Requirements (only one required) 

  1. Earned a C grade or higher in a college-level English course 
  2. Completed an Associate’s Degree or higher
  3. Received an Honorable Military Discharge (DD214 required)

 Step 1: Option B

PELLETB Exam

(POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery)​

If you do not qualify for an enrollment waiver, you must pass the PELLETB Exam.​

Available Test Dates:​​

POST exams may be taken once every 30 days.
Valid T-scores from another agency may be accepted if less than one year old at the start of the academy.

 Step 2:

Pass the Physical Agility Test

After Step 1, applicants must pass a Physical Agility Test.

Hanford Educational Center - Outdoor Pavilion

  • ​Registration opens 30 minutes before start time

  • Applicants must present a valid ID at check-in.​

Physical Agility Test Requirements​



 Step 3:

Attend Academy Orientation

After the physical agility test, applicants must complete orientation.

​​Before Attending Orientation:

Orientation Dates (All Required): ​​

  • June 6-7, 2026  |  7 AM to 6 PM 
  • June 13-14 | 7 AM to 6 PM 
All 4 days (40 Hours) must ​be completed
