COS Wi-Fi

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Most areas at COS provide student and employees FREE access to district resources as well as resources located on the internet/Wi-Fi. Access is available either by wired district computers or via the wireless network.​ Below is the public network for all campuses:

  • COS

​To connect to the FREE Wi-Fi networks at the COS campuses, open your Wi-Fi connections on your wireless device and select the network 'COS' and connect as guest, or login with your email/password (MyGiant). You will be prompted to accept the terms of the service before you are allowed access.​​​​​


Access to COS District network resources are protected and require a network account. Students and employees are given network accounts either at the time of registration or at the time of hire. COS reserves the right to revoke network access due to misuse and/or criminal activity.​

Low Cost Internet

AT&T offers unlimited internet data and access for low-income households at $10 a month through the Access from AT&T program.




​Xfinity offers free access through their Xfinity WiFi Hotspot app to discover public hotspots near you.



California Community College students re eligible for the California Connects Mobile Internet service. The new mobile hotspot service, powered by Spring, offers nationwide 4G LTE connectivity, and allow users to connect up to 10 WiFi enabled devices for up to 10 hours on a single charge. There is no contract requirement and cost $19.99 a month.​
