Who can vote? A United States citizen and resident of California who is 18 years old or older on Election Day.
- Presidential Primary Election: March 5, 2024
- Voter Registration Deadline: February 20, 2024 (online or postmarked by this date)
- Vote by Mail Ballot Request: Must arrive by February 27, 2024
Did you know you can pre-register to vote?
If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can pre-register to vote. In California, you must be 16 to 17 years old and meet all of the other eligibility requirements to vote. You will then be automatically registered to vote onour 18th birthday.
