The Equivalency Committee is empowered by the Academic Senate to assist in the drafting and implementation of policies and procedures governing the hiring of faculty applicants​ whose qualifications are equivalent to the Chancellor's Office minimum qualifications as prescribed in Title 5. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
