Groundskeeping

Tiled Heroes

District grounds staff are responsible for the upkeep of nearly 128 acres of developed landscaping, sports fields, walkways, driveways and parking lots.  On-site water wells serve the irrigation needs of the Visalia and Tulare campuses; the Hanford campus is connected to the city's water service.  Knowledge of plant material, climate, irrigation systems, seasonal maintenance and fertilization are all important factors in properly managing each landscape.  From tree-lined walkways to flowering planter areas, each site features various outdoor settings for users to enjoy the natural environment.  We hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of our district!
