I-20

 Visa Information

‚ÄčNormally, only non-immigrant "F-1" status students will be accepted for admission; however, international students in another status will be considered on their individual merit.

The Form I-20 of the United States Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service will be sent only after all admission requirements have been met and the applicant has been accepted for admission.

Applicants on an I-20 Issued by Another Institution

  • International students who are attending another institution in the United States will only be considered for admission at COS if a college recommends the admission of such a student into a terminal program. Visa students with academic deficiency from a university may be admitted after a review of their particular circumstances.
  • An international student who has been issued a visa to attend another institution, but who has not attended that institution, will not be considered for admission to COS until the entire admissions process to College of the Sequoias has been completed and the student has been accepted for admission.
  • An international student who is on probation at another college or who has been disqualified at that college will not be considered for admission to COS.
