Summer Recording Workshop

This Recording Arts workshop will take a multi-track recording project from beginning to end. Learn about microphones and microphone techniques as you record a variety of instruments such as drums, bass, guitar, piano, and vocals. After recording, students will learn about professional mixing techniques by using Digital Audio Workstations with Pro Tools. Mixing techniques, such as appropriate use of reverb, equalization, and compression, will be discussed in the classroom.
