We are delighted that you have chosen College of the Sequoias to begin your college career. We want to make this an easy step for you, and we look forward to working with you. COS' Bridge Program will waive enrollment fees for up to 6 units for California-resident, concurrently enrolled high school students. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to complete some of the classes required for college graduation and to explore subject areas in which you think you might be interested.

COS classes are offered at many local high schools to assist you with transportation issues. Click  "Class Search"  to search by location (city) and see what is offered at your local high school campus.

At COS you will find instructors and staff always ready to help you - from the classroom to student services offices, we are here for you.

The following is a list of the things you must do in order to complete your enrollment at College of the Sequoias:

1. Complete a COS Web ApplicationAfter you have applied, you will be notified by e-mail of acceptance at COS and you can register for classes during the designated time period. If you have already applied as a concurrently enrolled high school student in the past year, you will not need to re-apply.

 

2. Obtain the Concurrent High School Permission Form from your high school counselor or from this Web site. Signatures are required from your high school counselor and a parent/guardian.

3. Register for classes during your desginated time  period. Please go to BanWeb and check your class schedule for accuracy.

 

4. If you plan to take a math or English class, you will need to take a placement test. Call 730-3737 to schedule a time or go to Room 157 in Visalia. For students in Hanford, call 585-3933.
