The College of the Sequoias has teamed up with Microsoft to provide students with a free windows live account.
This account not only provides the student with fast and reliable email, it also allows the students access to other Microsoft services.
Beginning August 2008, currently enrolled and newly enrolled students will be
receiving this account as part of joining the COS family.

Here is how you access your account: You were sent a message to an existing e-mail address containing your new
user name and a password.
With this information, navigate to http://www.hotmail.com
|
Once you have successfully logged into your giant.cos.edu account for the first time, you will be
prompted to change your password and update your account with some personal information that they will use to verify that it is you if you should need to make changes to your giant.cos.edu account
|
Once you have completed the Account Information form, you are now able to use your new giant.cos.edu email.

If you are happy with your current E-mail account provider and still would like to use their service and the COS email, you can simply forward your COS email
to your current E-mail account
Here is how to forward your giant.cos.edu E-mail
Login to your giant.cos.edu e-mail account as above
In the upper right-hand corner of the e-mail page, Click on Options, then More Options

On the following page, click Forward E-mail to another e-mail account
|
Put a dot in Forward your mail to another e-mail address, enter in your personal e-mail address and click save
