Parking Areas

You may link to Map of the COS campus showing six of the seven parking lots.

The following are the designated parking areas:

* RESERVED: COS staff parking only (yellow curb).

* HANDICAPPED: By permit only-designated by signs and or blue curb or space marking.

* MOPEDS-MOTORCYCLES: To be parked in designated areas (orange) only. Permits are not required.

* LOADING ZONE: Time limited.

* 20-MINUTE ZONE: Visitor parking, circle drive (green curb).

* GENERAL PARKING: Remaining areas of the campus with white painted spaces are open to student and visitor parking  with a permit.

* NOTES: Head-in parking only. Park only in painted spaces - no white curb parking.

HANDICAPPED PARKING

Persons wishing to park in the blue handicapped stalls must obtain a handicapped parking decal from the Disabled Resource Center. Handicapped stalls are located in Lots, #2, #3, #4, and #6

GUEST AND VISITOR PARKING

Invited guests and visitors may use green 20-minute zones on campus without a permit. Free limited parking privileges may be given to visitors and guests providing arrangements are made in advance with the Campus Police.

AREA BUSINESSES REQUEST C.O.S. STUDENTS NOT USE THEIR PARKING LOTS WHILE ATTENDING CLASSES. VIOLATOR’S VEHICLES MAY BE TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.
