ScooterWelcome to ATT QuickStart

College of the Sequoias (COS) and the Central Valley Advanced Transportation and Energy, and Technology Center-Region V seek “Quick Start” funding for expanding current automotive and agriculture based alternate fuel instruction through an unique approach targeting orientation, expanded comprehensive training and worksite/project learning activities that will be used to reduce air pollution; increase the efficient use of energy through alternate fuels and improve the economy of the region. This approach will empower students to look towards advanced transportation technologies as a viable career option that, through collaborative effort, facilitates a lasting environmental solution for the Central San Joaquin Valley.

Alternative fuels, as defined by the project include, ethanol, natural gas, hydrogen, biodiesel, electricity, and methanol fuels. These fuels are being used worldwide in a variety of vehicle and stationary applications.
