As the Student Life & Leadership Coordinator, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the College of the Sequoias.
The Associated Student Body Leadership Class is the recognized Student Government Association that represents all students at COS. We have student representatives on all the major COS committees that affect the education of students. We interact with students, faculty, and administration on a daily basis voicing the students’ needs and concerns. I would like to invite you to become involved in student government, clubs, and other campus organizations. Research shows students who become actively involved in their college education feel more connected to the institution, do better academically and are better prepared for scholarship consideration. Studies have also shown that these students are more apt to be successful after college and will become community leaders.
