Veterinary Technology

The Veterinary Technician program gives students entry level training and animal health care.  Instruction is offered in nutrition, diseases and sanitation, small animal care, as well as basic livestock handling.  Upon completion of the coursework and after completing state licensing criteria, students may find employment as veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants.  Many of the courses are transferable to universities for degrees in Animal Science areas.
