Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)


Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training is critically important for individuals working in Agriculture, as well as those working in Food Processing. GAP is not only a compliance issue; it also represents a competitive advantage as buyers are requiring food safety plans.

This class will help verify that fruits and vegetables are produced, packed, handled and stored as
safely as possible to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$30 for members of the Specialty Crop industry.
You are a member of the Specialty Crop industry if:
At least 51% of what you grow is part of the specialty crop industry
At least 51% of the ingredients in your product(s) you manufacture is part of the specialty crop industry
