COS Network Access
There are different areas in the COS district that student and employees are able to access district resources as well as resources located on the internet. Access is available either by wired district computers or via the wireless network. Each of the District sites have their own free public Wi-Fi which allows access to the internet only. Below are the public networks on each campus.
- Visalia Campus Wi-Fi | COS_PUB
- Hanford Campus Wi-Fi | HNFRD_PUB
- Tulare Campus Wi-Fi | TUL_PUB
To connect to one of the free Wi-Fi networks at the COS campuses, open your Wi-Fi connections on your wireless device and select the network for the campus that you are at. You will be prompted to accept the terms of the service before you are allowed access.
: Wireless network coverage is limited in it's current state, with more access to come. See our Wireless Map
Access to COS District network resources are protected and require a network account. Students and employees are given network accounts either at the time of registration or at the time of hire. COS reserves the right to revoke network access due to misuse and/or criminal activity.
