Financial Aid Information
The EOPS and CARE Programs require that all students who wish to receive or continue to receive services (academic and financial) from the EOPS/CARE Office to qualify for the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver Program, more commonly known as the BOGFW waiver. Although this can be done by submitting a BOGFW application to the Financial Aid Office, we require all students to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which may award applicants with additional grants and other financial assistance.
Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA application should be completed and submitted to apply for federal student grants, federal work-study and federal student loans. You may also use this application to apply for most state aid as well as some private aid.

The Dream Act allows AB 540 students to also apply for Cal Grants and Board of Governors fee waivers. The Dream Act is not an application for federal financial aid. Students eligible to file the FAFSA must file the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students should not complete both applications.
