- Submit a completed EOPS application by the established deadline;
- Be enrolled as a full-time student (at least 12 units per semester) at the College of the Sequoias (COS) at the time of admittance;
Be a resident of California for at least one calendar year and one day;
Qualify to receive a Board of Governors Fee Waiver;
Be educationally disadvantaged (meet one or more of the following criteria):
Not qualified at the college of attendance for enrollment into the minimum level English or mathematics course that is applicable to the associate degree;
Not have graduated from high school or obtained the General Education Diploma (G.E.D.);
Graduated from high school with a grade point average below 2.50 on a 4.00 grade point average scale;
Been previously enrolled in remedial education; and Other factors set forth by the College of the Sequoias Community College District.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
Have not completed more than 40 college units including basic skills and remedial courses;
Provide assessment information (COS English & Mathematics Placement Test); and
Meet the EOPS Income Criterion (changes on a yearly basis):
