CARE Eligibility Requirements
In order to receive CARE services, the applicant must:
- Be an Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) student;
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be Single Head of Household;
- Be a current recipient of CalWORKs/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF);
- Have one child under 14 years of age at the time of admittance;
- Be enrolled as a 3/4-time student (at least 9 units per semester) at COS at the time of admittance;
- Submit a completed CalWORKs/TANF Certification Form.
