Philosophy Club is for any COS student to participate in discussion and activities.  The Club meets weekly to discuss philosophical questions.  Meeting times are posted on the advisor's office, Carol Enns, Kern 730A.

 

Some questions discussed in Philosophy club: 
  1. Should we look out for others or just ourselves?
  2. Is it okay to lie?
  3. Are we more than nerves, organic matter and synapses?
  4. Should minorities emphasize their ethnicity?
  5. Are we by nature good?
