Crime(s):     Auto Theft (2 incidents) – Visalia Campus
Date(s):        1/18/2017
Location(s): Parking Lot #7 (South Parking Lot)
Suspect(s):   Unknown
Vehicles Taken:   1. 1996 Acura Integra, 4-door sedan, silver
                           2. 1998 Honda Accord, 4-door sedan, green
On Wednesday, 1/18/17, between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, unknown suspects stole the listed vehicles from Parking Lot #7 on the south end of the Visalia campus.  There was an additional report taken for vehicle tampering on another Honda Civic during the same time period in Lot #7.
GMC / Chevy trucks and SUVs, as well as Honda sedans are popular targets for car thieves.  Extra precautions for those vehicles (alarms, etc.) may be a good investment toward preventing theft.
When approaching your vehicle, be watchful for any signs of tampering or the door key cylinder punched out.   Suspects may at times open the vehicle hood to silence an alarm, but they will appear to be looking at the engine.
Report all suspicious persons and activity or information regarding this case to the Sequoias Community College District Police Department immediately at (559)730-3999.
