At COS, you may earn a two-year degree, a vocational certificate, upgrade specific skills, or complete your requirements for a four-year college or university degree.

 Mission Statement

  • To serve as the focal point for all components of Student Services by supporting successful programs, initiating new ones, and supporting the committed pool of faculty and staff.

  • To maintain open communication, trust, honesty, and integrity with all components of Student Services in partnership with Academic Services, Administrative Services and the Office of the President.
  •   
  • To facilitate cooperation and collaboration amongst all the programs providing services to students beginning with outreach, registration, counseling and financial aid in order to provide a seamless transition through the matriculation process.
  •   
  • To ensure that the Student Services Division offers a wide range of support services that are in sync with the needs of students from diverse cultural, socio-economic, academic, learning impaired, and learning style backgrounds.
  •   
  • The Office of the Vice President will facilitate a collaborative partnership with Instructional Services to ensure student success.
  •   
  • Re-engineer student services programs to address the emerging needs to new populations as presented in the research data by the Office of Research and Planning.
