Language Center

The below services are offered during scheduled class sessions and in one-on-one and group tutoring hours:

  • Grammar guidance and review, from simple to more complex analysis
  • Help with recognizing and strengthening the use of various sentence structures
  • Support of English Language mastery across the disciplines, from beginning to advanced levels

MESA Study Center

The MESA (Math Engineering
Science Achievement) program enables disadvantaged students to prepare for a four-year college with a math-based degree in areas such as engineering, the sciences, computer science, and mathematics. 

The MESA Study Center is a place for students to:

  • Receive upper-division tutoring and supplemental instruction
  • Attend workshops
  • Study
  • Borrow textbook
  • Meet with a STEM counselor

First Year Experience Lab

The First-Year Experience program (FYE) creates learning environments that both challenge and support first-year students with the goal of easing the transition to college, providing encouragement and helping students succeed. 

The FYE lab is a place for students to:

The TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) assists low- income and/or first generation college students by providing them with opportunities for academic development as well as educational and counseling services.

The TRiO SSS lab is a place for students to:

  • Schedule appointments with a counselor and Student Support Specialist
  • Meet with Peer Mentors
