Computer Commons

One of the goals of the College of the Sequoias is to improve student success by providing students with up-to-date computers. Located in the Learning Resource Center (Lodgepole Building) is an area for students who need to write or print papers, access Blackboard courses, email or do other academic work.

The Computer Commons has the same hours as the library.

Equipment Available:

• 94 PC Workstations with Windows 7 Professional

• 4 scanners

• Printer:  Black/White - $.10 per page    Color - $.25 per page

Conduct:

• No Pornography/Nudity real or animated

   

• Under no circumstances will software brought in be loaded

   

• No children shall be left unsupervised or allowed to use the computers

   

• Keep food and drink away from the computers

   

• Those students not conducting academic work can be asked to leave

   

Students violating these rules may be asked to leave the Learning Center. Those students who wish to continue to violate the rules will be reported to the Dean of Students and will have their login accounts removed.
