EBSCO eBooks can be accessed off campus as any other database.
What is an EBSCO eBook?
Student log-in: Banner ID (no @ sign) and birthdate (example for March 8th, 1996 would be: 3/8/1996)
Faculty log-in: COS email username and password
The EBSCO eBook collection (previously NetLibrary) at COS is an online library with full-text copies of published print materials, such as reference books, scholarly and popular books. These materials can be accessed from any computer on or off campus. You may also choose to create a personal EBSCO eBooks account following directions below.
Creating personal EBSCO eBook Account
- Using an on-campus computer, enter, click on Sign In and then Create a new Account link.
Enter your identifying information (user name, password, email address).
Select the Save Changes button.
Accessing EBSCO eBooks Off-Campus with a Personal Account:
Go toEBSCO eBooks and Sign In with the user name and password that you have created while on campus.
Click the Login button.
Now you have access to personalization features, checkout capabilities and all eContent available in the COS Library's collection.
