Scholarships​​ are a source of money available to students who meet certain eligibility requirements that does not need to be paid back.

You can complete one online scholarship application and be matched to all available scholarships. Search the Current Inside Scholarships page to view the many scholarships offered.

2019-2020 Important Scholarship Dates
October 8, 2018: Scholarship Application OPENS
October 31, 2018: Transfer students fall semester proof of enrollment from university due (2018-2019 recipients)
November 26, 2018: Scholarship Application CLOSES
January 7, 2019: Letters of recommendation due 
February 28, 2019: Transfer students spring semester proof of enrollment from university due (2018-2019 recipients)
April 2, 2019: Students notified of scholarship award(s) via Giant email
May 2, 2019: COS Scholarship Night

Current Students:

Are you a current COS student who plans on continuing or transferring in fall 2019? If yes, you must log into the application via Banner Web. Once in Banner Web, select "Student & Financial Aid" then "Scholarship Manager." If you do not log in via Banner Web you could jeopardize your opportunities for scholarships. Prospective Students:

Are you a current high school student or first-time college student? Are you planning on becoming a fall 2019 incoming (first-time) student? If yes, there are two steps to applying for scholarships.

October 8, 2018 – November 26​, 2018 – Submit New Student Scholarship Application.
Admissions Application – Submit College of the Sequoias Application for Admission.
*Fall 2019 incoming (first-time) students – You do not have to submit your Application for Admission before submitting your Scholarship Application. However, failure to complete both applications by their corresponding due dates can jeopardize your opportunities for scholarships.
