Experienced Faculty
Instructors have practical experience and specialize in adult learning. Instructors are selected from among COS staff as well as
outside contractors affiliated with the College, who have specific industry knowledge, experience teaching adult learners, and the
ability to design courses to meet the needs of employers.
Special Resources for Manufacturers
The Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) is a COS Program to support manufacturers with technical assistance,
technology transfer and workforce development. To help you optimize efficiency, CACT can conduct assessments, recommend
improvements, demonstrate technologies and provide employee training.
