Tracy Myers

Tracy Myers has been part of the COS staff since 1986, and has been the Head Swim coach since 1992.  Tracy brings with her a variety of techniques and accomplishments to COS swimming and diving. She taught Red Cross swim lessons and coached the town swim team while growing up in southern California; she was the assistant women's coach for the Fresno State Champion team in 1976 where she earned her B.A. degree in Physical Education; and ran the Palomar College swim program in the late 70's and early 80's (while earning her Master's degree in P.E. fro USIU).

Her expertise is in technique, form, and cross-training. Tracy has several success stories from the COS swimmers and divers. Every year swimmers and divers have qualified for the State Meet where COS has competed against top schools and have come up with top awards.

In 1999, the COS men's team took 1st place in the BVC with diver Dustin Shawnego taking top honors on boy 1 and 3 meter boards at he State Meet.  Swimmer Erin (Stubbs) Lambert took five 1st place awards at the State Meet while breaking two state records, and setting new COS records.

The COS Men's team was back to back BVC Conference Champions in 2006 and 2007 with diver Jordan Pollack winning 1stt in the State on the 3 meter board.

Coach Tracy Myers received "Coach of the Year" honors in years 1999, 2006, and 2007.

Diedra Alves

Deidra Alves, originally from Tulare Western, brings 25 years of coaching in diving to COS aquatics. Since 1998, she has produced 16 conference champions, 3 State Champions, and received “Diving Coach of the Year” honors in 2002. Deidra also coaches at Golden West High School with much success. COS is lucky to have Deidra on staff.
