POLS 110 California Government and Politics

Political Science courses teach the student to have a greater understanding and appreciation of the operation and functions of American political institutions.   Government is studied on the national, state and local level.  American political institutions are viewed in relation to those in other nations. 

All Political Science courses fulfill general education requirements and are transferable to the CSU, UC and private colleges.   In addition, these courses fulfill various requirements for an AA degree at COS.  The courses meet general education requirements in American institutions.
