The Social Sciences Division offers certificates for vocational training, degrees for the community college graduate, transfer degrees and guaranteed California State University (CSU) degrees.  Certificates and Associate degrees from the community college can be useful for the student that wants training and education in a specific area.  Employers often recognize the specialized courses that are taken for a particular career.  Majors and certificate recognize your career focus at the College of the Sequoias and your transfer educational goals.
