This program is two semesters in length and consists of theory and clinical experience. Students completing this certificate will acquire the employment skills, knowledge, and abilities for an entry level position as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital pharmacy. After successful program completion, the student is eligible for California State Pharmacy Technician registration. State application fees will apply.
ENTRY-LEVEL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be prepared for employment in hospital based pharmacy and retail pharmacy.
