Eligibility

 
In order to become a MESA Student you must:
  • Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Must be a math, engineering, or science major such as Astronomy, Biology, Bio-Psychology, Chemistry, Computer Science,
  • Engineering, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, or Pre-Med
  • Must be enrolled in Math 230 or higher
  • Students must meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Eligible for EOPS
    • Eligible for Board of Governor's Grant (Fee Waiver)
    • Parent/Guardian/Student on TANF (Formerly AFDC)
    • GAIN Participants
    • Receive financial aid
