Jeff Bilden, the Director of Bands at the College of the Sequoias, earned his AA from the College of the Sequoias, his BA from California State University Fresno and his MS from the University of LaVerne.

Mr. Bilden is a veteran of thirty four years of teaching in all levels of music education. Having taught Middle School and High School music for fifteen years, He is currently the Director of Bands and Music Department Chairman at College of the Sequoias, a position he has held for the past nineteen years.

At the College of the Sequoias, he currently directs The College Symphonic Band and The College Jazz Ensemble, The Wednesday Night Adult Jazz Ensemble and also conducted the musical theater orchestra for eleven years.

Mr. Bilden is also active as a clinician, judge and a performer on trombone and euphonium. He is the Principal Trombone of the Tulare County Symphony Orchestra and is the Conductor of the Children’s Concerts for the TCSO. He is also active as a performer in local jazz groups, brass groups and works as a freelance musician throughout the College of the Sequoias area.
