Why Veterinary Technology?

 

Veterinary technology is the science and art of providing health care to animals and professional support to veterinarians.  The Veterinary Technology program is a demanding and academically challenging preparation for employment as a Veterinary Technician.  Graduates will receive an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology.  The program is not intended to be a Pre-Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Medicine curriculum.
 
 

Employment opportunities in VT

Employment and the demand for Veterinary Technicians is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2012.
