The Cultural and Historical Awareness Program at College of the Sequoias is an annual speaker and performance series designed to expose COS students and the broader community to a variety of intellectual and cultural topics vital to contemporary society. Each year, the CHAP program establishes a general theme and invites speakers and performers from across professions and academic disciplines to share their work and scholarship. By encouraging a range of interdisciplinary conversations, the CHAP program enriches the intellectual life of COS students and of the broader communities in Central California.
