Essential Learning for Online Instruction and Student Empowerment (ELOISE!)
This is a proposal for funding of a new program to help Basic Skills students to access and succeed in online courses. |
On Course I Workshop
This is a proposal to bring On Course I to College of the Sequoias. Fifty COS instructors will be trained in On Course.

On Course II Workshop
Twenty-four faculty will be trained at this 4-day workshop to be held in Wonder Valley in February 2011. |
In Class Math Tutors
In-class math tutors have been hired to work in Arithmetic (Math 372), Pre-Algebra (Math 360/365), Elementary Algebra (Math 200/205) and Intermediate Algebra (Math 230) classes.

Ag. Tutors and Computers
Tutors to help students at the COS farm are funded with this proposal.

Achieving Success, Retention and Persistence for Student Athletes (SARP)
Two tutors and a Retention Specialist are funded through this proposal. This extra help with academics helps COS athletes succeed in their classes as well as athletics. |
