The Community Education office is committed to providing “Life-long Learning” opportunities to individuals in our community. We offer a wide-range of classes, from the just-for-fun classes to improving a skill or learning a new hobby. Whether you are looking for an educational, enrichment or adventure class, we may have just what you’re looking for.
Community Education classes are short-term, not-for-credit, fee-based courses, workshops and training programs. The program is self-supporting from class fees, receiving no funds from COS or the State of California, and is separate from the academic offerings of the College.
Community Education is a unit of the Business, Industry and Community Services Department, offering classes on the Visalia campus, the BICS Training Center and other off-campus sites in the community.

- developing networks and partnerships that allow for information exchange and increased opportunities to bring needed workforce resources to our region
- delivering customized training and consulting services that provide a return-on-investment for the business served
